We’ve all traveled with our families and close relatives. Some holidays were better than others. Travelling with friends on the other hand is a totally different story. If you’re considering travelling with your bestie or a group of friends, then this article is for you.
We list some travelling tips to keep in mind.
• Choose your travelling friends wisely: we all have that one friend who’s tied at the hip. You basically do everything together and he/she is the go to person for everything. However this doesn’t mean she’s the best person to travel with unless you trust them well enough. Our advice is choosing a mature, well-traveled individual who shares the same passions and interests as you do.

• Less is more: if this is your first travelling experience its best to pick one friend as opposed to a group. Two is a company and three is a crowd, there’s always someone who’s bound to feel like a third wheel and that’s not nice. Plus a group of individual means dealing with four different personalities likes and dislikes which can be too much.
• Do be aware that you will have different priorities: for some people hitting the clubs and hot spots is far more interesting than visiting a museum. This is why planning each day is important.
This will give the both of you room to do your own thing and incorporate different ideas for each day. It’s also a good idea to spend some time apart like a morning or afternoon and meet up for dinner instead.
• Don’t expect smooth sailing: we all have expectations especially when traveling to a different place. We want to enjoy ourselves and we expect it to happen. But you need to prepare yourself for things such as weather conditions, language barriers and public transport and in some cases walking. If things get too much take a break, go for coffee talk about it make peace and try to have some fun!
